Four years on, I have quit my corporate job and am now painting full time from my studio in London. I wanted to paint mountainous landscapes and national parks for adventurers and nature lovers, channeling the deep emotional connection I have to these majestic landscapes.
Drawing on previous expeditions to the Mont Blanc Circuit, the GR20, the Annapurna Circuit and beyond has been the foundation of my mountain range collection series - each collection capturing the unique colours, shapes, atmospheres, rock-formation, flora and fauna and distinct character of these extraordinary, dramatic places.
Specialising in impressionist mountain paintings, my vibrant colour palette combined with my impasto mountains are loved by mountain adventurers, nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and art collectors worldwide.
I have loved art ever since my grandmother first placed a paintbrush in my hand, aged four. My childhood saw endless hours painting together in her studio on the Kent coast, a passion that has burned even brighter in the years since.
Post-COVID I was itching for the mountains, away from my corporate 9-5 office job in London and so booked a flight to Nepal for a 14 day hike through the snow-capped mountains of the Annapurna Circuit. Trekking this awe-inspiring mountain range, watching the sun rise and then set over the backdrop of these magnificent peaks reenergized my passion for art and I couldn’t wait to get back to my late grandmother's studio, pick up a brush and get these breathtaking scenes onto canvas.
