    These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cat Goward Art website (www.catgowardart.com) and the purchase of artwork, prints and commissioned pieces. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

    1. About Us

    Cat Goward Art (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is an independent art business based in the United Kingdom, offering original artwork, prints and commissioned pieces.

    2. Products and Services

    We offer:

    • Original artworks

    • Fine art prints

    • Commissioned artwork

    All pieces are described and photographed as accurately as possible. However:

    • Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings

    • Handmade items may have minor variations

    3. Orders

    • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance

    • Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email

    • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if necessary (e.g. pricing errors, suspected fraud)

    4. Pricing and Payment

    • All prices are listed in GBP (£) unless stated otherwise

    • Prices may change at any time without notice

    • Payment must be made in full before dispatch (except where commission deposits apply)

    • Original paintings are normally dispatched within 5–10 working days

    • Limited-edition prints are normally dispatched within 2–3 weeks

    • Commission delivery times are agreed individually

    International Orders:

    • Worldwide shipping is included. Cat Goward Art also covers applicable customs duties and import charges. If a courier requests payment, please contact info@catgowardart.com before paying the charge.

    6. Returns and Refunds

    a. Original Artwork & Prints

    • You have the right to return items within 14 days of receiving them (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations)

    • Items must be returned in original condition and packaging

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty

    b. Commissions

    • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun

    • Custom commissions cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty or not as described

    c. Damaged or Faulty Items

    • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos

    • We will offer a replacement, repair or refund where appropriate

    7. Commissions

    • Commission details (size, subject, price, timeline) will be agreed in advance

    • A non-refundable deposit may be required to begin work

    • Progress updates may be provided at our discretion

    • Reasonable revision requests may be accepted, but significant changes may incur additional fees

    8. Intellectual Property

    • All artwork, images, and content remain the intellectual property of Cat Goward Art

    • Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright

CUSTOMER CARE

  • Cat Goward Art offer FREE UK & Worldwide Shipping (including USA). Artwork is dispatched from the UK within 5-10 working days. Each artwork is carefully hand-wrapped and packaged before shipping, and you’ll receive an email with tracking details once it’s on its way.

    All orders are sent via trusted delivery partners, such as Parcel Force. Delivery times vary depending on your location and the item purchased. While delays outside my control may occur, I’m always happy to assist where possible.

  • Cat Goward Art covers all tax and custom charges. If for any reason you receive a charged email from the courier you can forward this to info@catgowardart.com and this will be taken care of.

  • What is the difference between an original artwork and a print?
    Prints are high resolution images of an Original Artwork which are then printed onto Giclee paper. An Original Artwork is a piece of artwork that has been hand painted and one of a kind.

    I have made an order, what next? Congratulations! Now that you have placed an order you will receive an email confirmation sharing your order number and a summary of the production and dispatch process. So keep an eye out for it in your inbox.

    Do you ship worldwide?
    Yes, Cat Goward Art proudly ships globally to all countries around the world.

    How often do you take on commissions?
    Every month I take on a maximum of 5 mountain commission paintings.

    What does ‘Ready to Hang’ mean?
    The canvas includes D-rings and a picture wire so it is fully prepared to be hung immediately.

    Why are original artworks and prints not sold framed?
    All original artworks and prints are sold unframed. Frame size and colour are a matter of personal preference. Images shown are for display purposes only.


  • For original artworks and prints, pay in full or select flexible payment options.

    Securely pay using all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Klarna.

    Klarna allows eligible customers to spread the cost of their purchase. Simply select Klarna at checkout to view the payment options available to you. Once payment has been received, your order will be processed and dispatched.

    For commissioned artworks, a 25% deposit is required upfront to secure your commission. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the artwork is processed and dispatched.

  • 14-day free returns. If you’re not satisfied with the artwork, I’ll refund the artwork price and original shipping costs once the piece has been returned and received.

  • I am available Monday to Friday from 9am - 5pm (GMT) and will respond to your enquiries as soon as possible.
