Afterglow is an original contemporary mountain painting inspired by the lingering light that follows sunset high in the mountains. A distant range of snow-covered peaks emerges from the shadows beneath a sky illuminated by soft pink, violet and magenta tones.

Rich colour fills the sky before gradually fading into cooler tones below, creating a sense of depth, warmth and stillness. The mountains are deliberately understated, allowing the changing light and atmosphere to become the focus of the painting.

Blending abstraction with a sense of landscape, Afterglow focuses on colour, atmosphere and emotion rather than fine detail. The minimalist composition and open space capture the quiet feeling of watching the last light disappear behind the mountains.

A one-of-a-kind original, Afterglow brings the warmth and serenity of mountain sunsets into the home - a piece of contemporary mountain art for collectors drawn to colour, atmosphere and distant peaks.
